Weekend Round Up and What's For Dinner Repeat

Saturday morning I woke up early and headed out to run some errands the first of which included another stop at the vet’s office to pick up more of my dog’s medication. Seriously this dog is a golden dog, I should write a blog on how much this little dog has cost us in the last 5 years, she’s damned lucky she is the cutest, sweetest dog ever!

I then headed over to Zehrs to take advantage of their No Tax Friday and Saturday. I was hoping to check out their Joe Fresh clothing line and see if they had anything on clearance that I could stock up on for Christmas Gifts. (Seriously, Joe Fresh is the cutest/nicest clothing line and it’s inexpensive and it cracks me up you can buy it in the grocery store.) I did not find anything to buy for my Christmas gifts, but I did score a cute shirt for myself (*insert sheepish grin) for the holidays, regular $20 marked to $9.94, NO TAX!!! Score!
Saturday afternoon I met up with my sister for a trip the Niagara Falls History Museum! You can read about that here!

Saturday evening we headed out for our hockey night. My husband’s team won 6-1 and our team lost 5-0, but we had a lot of fun. Even though I was coughing and hacking I felt that while I was playing I could breathe with no problem but coming back to the bench and trying to catch my breath resulted in a coughing/snotty mess. Good times regardless.
Sunday my husband and I laid around watching tv and movies. We had some cookies from a mix and I made my peanut butter balls. The peanut Butter Balls I did like these ones that you can read here! Except I went crazy and dipped half of them with chocolate, I also added a dash of cinnamon and cayenne to kick them up a notch.

For dinner we had roast chicken and roasted potatoes, just like the ones I made here! The only thing I did differently was I used the Cajun Club House seasoning instead of the Roasted Red Pepper and Garlic as I was out, the Cajun was just as good. It was sweet and had a bit of a kick.

Delicious!!!

It was a great weekend!!!
